Deposit Waiver Fees (DFW) are a pass through expense to the renter. Approved applicants and renewing renters are offered Zero Deposit™ in the Aptly leasing process.
Enroll in Zero Deposit™
Renters are encouraged to enroll in Zero Deposit™ but are still giving the option to pay a deposit. Renters never interact with LeaseLock, and there is no separate application process.

Most renters choose Zero Deposit™ and sign a lease addendum to acknowledge their obligations
File a Claim
Properties can file claims in LeaseLock Central™ 30 days after move out, after initial collection attempts are complete.
